These last few weeks have been really busy and amazing. I wanted to recap my first market experiences in a post, now that my feet have stopped hurting and I am back to the usual craziness! Not super-crazy, just normal-crazy. Like myself, ha!
The first event was the Pop up store, held on a Friday evening at L’Armari de Sant Pere, a boutique with a carefully curated collection of handmade clothing and accessories which carries some of my items. It was a “meet the designer” kind of event, with a DJ, drinks and shopping. The evening was a lot of fun, chatting to loads of interesting people while having a glass of wine.
The second event was the Scandinavian Christmas Market held on the next day at Librería +Bernat. The place exceeded my expectations, it was very cosy and it felt very Scandinavian too. The moment doors opened the place was literally packed with people, and a steady stream of visitors and shoppers lasted for the whole day. By the time the day was over, I had met loads of curious shoppers, customers, some awesome fellow vendors (Tarja from Salmon Järvisoikkeli, Heleli baking delicious cupcakes and karelian pies -those pies saved my day!, Salla from Kippura and Jessica from Pqno Designs), family and friends! And Santa was there, so what more could I ask for?
Feeling satisfied for the day, the work, and overwhelmed for the love I felt from all the supporting people who were there in person, or in spirit. I only have 2 words left: Thank You!
